Easy, Sunshine

Last weekend, inspired by all the spring-like weather, I took a little trip in the name of brunch.

Easy Restaurant is pretty much at the end of Queen West as I know it, but I really wanted to try their West Coast Toast. (pictured) It's topped with black caviar for goodness sake! YUM!

I also really enjoyed their fresh brewed Illy Coffee and of course, the sunshiny weather. Woo for Spring in January!

So it is almost New Year's eve, the most overrated magical night of the year. However, since we will be ringing in 2012, aka the year the Mayans predicted the world will end, we should set our expectation way too high and REALLY try to live it up!

Of course what really mater is spending the night with your loved ones what you look like! You laugh now, but when the sun swallows the planet up (or whatever it is that will happen), you will think "Boy, I sure am happy I spent my last New Year's eve on this earth in a cute fringe dress with the most amazing (yet unexpected!) black Alaia boots and smelling of Tom Ford's latest scent creation!" Mhm, that's exactly what you will be thinking.

So yeah, Happy New Year's everyone! Woo 2012!!

Velvet dress, Christian Louboutin patent leather pumps, Red Patent Clutch, Bounkit Sapphire Blue Earrings, Kenneth Jay Lane bangle bracelet, NARS Lipstick and Nail Polish in Jungle Red

This Holiday season I am wearing lots of velvet. Touches of red and gold make this velvet dress even better and feel JUST festive enough. Blue earrings add a very special touch and replace the possibility of green, which should be left to the elves. Merry Christmas!
